Unsure Beginnings

So what the hell is the point of Blogging. What the hell is a Blog for that matter. I figured I'd look it up. Merriam-Webster says it is "a web site that contains an online personal journal with reflections, comments, and often hyperlinks provided by the writer ; also : the contents of such a site", short for weblog. I wonder how many people that actually blog don't know what it means. I'm sure your sitting there reading this "of course I know what a blog is, what do you think I am stupid". I'm sure that's pretty true, but how many people really don't know what it is? I don't know, maybe it's just me.

Now is this something I want to do? I don't know. Is it something I need to do? No, not really. So why I am here? Well, my wife told me I should blog to show all my photographs. I thought to myself, maybe I should. Plus I do like to voice my opinion, and whom better to do that with than a whole world of people that I don't even know. When I was in the Navy, I could yell and unload all day long. Now I am the sole employee of my own landscaping business so there is no one to moan and groan to. But that's not all I intend to blog about either. I think too much negativity is just not healthy.

So again why am I doing this? I don't know. I may never know. Maybe you can figure it out as we go along. I'll be 40 next month which is not a big deal for me, but it is an age where I think you end up on the fence about a lot of different things. So I'm going to give it a go.
